About Diptyque
Candle-Making Expertise Making scented candles is an artisanal craft demanding time and an intimate knowledge of their materials: wax, wick and fragrance.

A new lease of life for our creations

Diptyque products can be refilled, recycled, repaired and reused to offer them a new and longer lease of life.

Refill

Available in four boutiques internationally since 2021, our fragrance refill service is now offered in more than 53 outlets. To refill empty customer bottles in minutes, sales consultants use an innovative machine patented and manufactured in France. 21 of our Eau de toilette and fragrance products are now refillable.
Our solid perfumes and some skincare products can also be refilled as often as customers wish.

A selection of home fragrance products – the hourglass, the home fragrance diffuser, the electric and car diffusers, and our "Les Mondes de Diptyque" (The Worlds of Diptyque) scented candles – are also designed for easy refill.
We plan to develop this environmentally friendly model further in the years ahead.

Recycle

As part of our commitment to fighting climate change, we have partnered with pioneering cosmetics recycling and recovery non-profit C.E.D.R.E. to give our products a new lease of life in France. Customers can now dispose of empty containers in our Paris boutiques. We also recover more raw materials than conventional recycling pathways – including every last drop of our products. We are working to extend this service in France and, soon, internationally, in collaboration with other players in the recycling sector, starting with London in January 2024, in partnership with Terracycle.
